We all know the far reaching negative consequences of not getting enough sleep, whether that be because we have problems nodding off or because of waking in the night and not being able to get back to sleep. Good quality sleep is a precursor to feeling good, enjoying life and functioning effectively. Unfortunately when a sleep pattern is disrupted, the anxiety it can produce will often make the situation worse until an individual is so anxious about their inability to sleep that it actively stops them from sleeping and the cycle continues.

Fortunately, hypnotherapy is ideally suited to help with insomnia and usually has a profound effect in only one session. Hypnotherapy can teach you how to relax both your body and mind so that getting to sleep becomes easy again. After the session, you will be given a recording that can be listened to that will enable you to create a new sleep habit. Suggestions are also given to facilitate getting to sleep more easily and also to achieving a deeper level of sleep so that waking during the night is eliminated too.

If subsequent sessions are required, you will be taught the technique of self-hypnosis or, if the insomnia is connected to anxiety surrounding a specific issue, hypnoanalysis will be conducted to resolve this. With the root cause of the anxiety treated, the associated insomnia will no longer affect your sleep pattern.

I slept as soon as my head hit the pillow and what a deep sleep!  You have such a soothing voice.  Thank you.
