Thai massage is an ancient form of massage that focuses on stimulating energy flow through the body's energy lines, releasing any blockages and restoring mind-body integration.

The massage is performed through clothes and on the floor to allow the maximum amount of dynamic movement possible. The therapist uses a combination of yoga stretches, acupressure and reflex point stimulation via their hands, feet, knees and elbows in a series of rhythmic movements that are usually firm but can be adapted if required.

Thai massage is great for improving flexibility and circulation, relieving muscular tension, boosting immunity and promoting energy and vitality. Although you are unlikely to fall asleep during the massage, the rhythm of the movement can be hypnotic and hugely relaxing. It is a great choice for people who do a lot of physical exercise, those who enjoy a deeper massage, those who would rather feel energised than sleepy post-massage and those who like trying something different

Please note that you must attend this appointment wearing loose, stretchy clothes in order to allow maximum movement of the body and the massage be as comfortable as possible.

I'd never had a Thai massage before and was nervous about it.  Sarah-Louise was very reassuring before she began the treatment, explained what she would be doing.  Wow, what a massage!  Unlike any other I've ever had.  It was exhausting and energising at the same time.  I felt marvellous afterwards.
